–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––So lately I have been listening to this audio book a friend of mine mentioned to me, written by a guy named James Allen. He was a scholarly fellow and wrote lots of inspirational books and poetry around the turn of the 20th century. I've never been a fan of audio reads, but that aside, the book is titled As a Man Thinketh. It is largely about the way you think being solely responsible for what occurs around you, and amongst other things, presents challenges to look upon all situations in a favorable and well tempered light. The premise is that noble thoughts make a noble person, lowly thoughts make a miserable person. Its certainly something to strive toward, and I can't help but consider it going about my day now.
I really can't recommend this enough. Simple stuff, but all too often overlooked. You can download a guilt-free copy of the book
